New Jersey, Contract For Clean Fuel Vehicles!

The State of New Jersey is accused of having 670 school districts. And over 560 municipalities!

How does  New Jersey get things done? Contracts with private companies for solid waste collection and school transportation!

Last December, Blue Diamond Disposal went over to compressed natural gas (CNG) solid waste collection trucks. Now several communities in Morris and Sussex counties have clean fuel burning, quiet trucks serving their residents. Blue Diamond CNG trucks are venturing into Passaic and Bergen counties due to Blue Diamond’s ability to bid on contracts more aggressively thanks to the fuel cost and maintenance economies!

A progressive solid waste company, named Roselle or Suburban in nearby Essex County has seen what Blue Diamond is doing and is making the switch to CNG!

Roselle is contracted to collect recycling paper in Dumont, Bergen County NJ and now the insightful Mayor of Dumont, Jim Kelly knows what to do! See below.

Trenton, you have NJ Senate Bill #2315! Make CNG school buses a reality and the five or six Bergen County and Passaic County school bus companies will make the switch for competitive reasons!

Here is a replay on a successful municipal contract for CNG solid waste collection on Long Island.
